Sustainability is the foundation of stay and it is with extensive pride that we announce our measures to ensure that we not only have the smallest possible carbon footprint, but also ensure that we do good for this planet, rather than harm. STAY is developed with the following quote in mind:
“A society grows great, when old men plant trees; the shade of which they know they will never sit in. Good people do good things for other people; it’s that simple.”

We are proud to inform you that R1000 of your venue hire is invested into an account that is used for community outreach, community improvement projects & charities in need.
STAY is 100% run on solar power as its primary electricity source. A back up generator is only used in circumstances under which there is no alternative. This is a back up power source to ensure uninterrupted electricity at your wedding or event.
Rain water is captured through an extensive network of pipes and gutters and is used for irrigation and the maintenance of pools and water features. Grey water is captured from across the venue and treated with a state of the art water treatment plant to be used as irrigation water for gardens and grasslands.
STAY believes in the above statement and has taken many actions to ensure that we not only believe in it, but live by it. From our composting plant, to our recycling centre, we are proud to show you that all glass, Aliminium cans, plastic, cardboard and paper are recycled.
“A society grows great, when old plant trees; the shade of which they know they will never sit in. Good people do good things for other people; it’s that simple.”
The founders believe that the planting of trees is not only a wonderful way to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but is a vital responsibility of all citizens. At STAY, the original plant encompasses 2000 indigenous trees and the rehabilitation of the natural grasslands, in an effort to bring back birds, insects, bees and animals.
The Inimitable Group is proud to inform you that across both properties - and at the opening date of STAY, the Group company has been responsible for the planting of 4500 trees. We endeavour to grow this number as the group company grows.
